Youth Choir
Sing with Us!
Treasured Voices Youth Choir is a non-profit community choir dedicated to growing the musical skills of children aged PreK to high school. Through a fun and engaging environment, we aim to:
Develop vocal skills: Children learn proper breathing techniques, vocal production, and musicianship.
Foster a love of music: We cultivate an appreciation for diverse musical styles, from classical to contemporary.
Build confidence and teamwork: Choir participation enhances self-esteem, communication, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Registration for Spring 2025 is closed.
Fall 2025 registration will open in June.
Our Choirs
Rubies
PreK-Kindergarten
Our youngest members explore music through playful activities, movement, and simple songs with a performance piece at the end of each semester.
Jades
1st-3rd Grade
This vibrant choir focuses on developing basic vocal techniques and performing a variety of age-appropriate pieces.
Sapphires
4th-High School
Our most advanced choir tackles more challenging repertoire, including classical and contemporary selections.

Sapphires and Jades Directors
Daniel & Karen Cummins are a husband and wife duo who have been doing music together since 2005. Daniel received his Bachelor’s degree in Choral Education from Liberty University and has been a voice and piano teacher since 2007. He also is the former director of the Together One Voice youth choir in Cary, NC. Karen graduated from Liberty University as well. Her major was focused on Early Childhood Development and she completed a Vocal Performance minor. She has been teaching voice lessons since 2007.
Together, Daniel & Karen serve in the music ministry of Compass Bible Church Treasure Valley. They participate in leading Kid’s Ministry worship and are member’s of the main service praise team. Daniel also leads the Compass Bible Worship Choir and Karen leads the Women’s Ministry Worship Band.

Rubies Director
Hannah is an experienced pianist, vocalist, and educator with a passion for music. She has been classically trained in piano and music theory. Over the years, she has accompanied youth choirs and vocal ensembles. She has been sharing her love of music with others for over two decades, both on the worship team at her local church and as a private piano teacher. Hannah is a mom of five and is excited to continue inspiring young musicians in the Treasured Voices Rubies choir!
Schedule
Treasured Voices will meet every Monday, following the West Ada County school calendar. Please see the calendar here for breaks, holidays, and special events! SPRING SEMESTER starts January 13.
Rehearsal Times
Rubies & Jades
Rehearsals are from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Mondays.
Sapphires
Rehearsals are from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm on Monday.
Spring 2025 Semester
Rubies: $150 per student
Jades & Sapphires: $185 per student
*$75 deposit per student due at registration
**Balance is due on March 1
The cost covers our resources, including printing music and other supplies, our accompanist fees, and the director fees. Our primary method for collecting these payments is through Venmo. If you do not use Venmo and wish to use another payment method, please contact us below. Otherwise, click the Pay Now button to be redirected to Venmo’s website. Our Venmo ID is @TreasuredVoices. Receipts will be issued for reimbursement needs.
